Released in the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020-21 AmCham Guide took its thematic point of departure in highlighting how AmCham’s 250 member companies contribute to Norwegian society, serving as engines for growth and stability in times of crisis.
The guide featured in-depth articles on collaborative policy development and public-private collaboration, member company contributions to cities across Norway, and AmCham’s newly released Foreign Multinationals in Norway report.
With the pandemic forcing AmCham to adapt its broad portfolio of member-driven events and initiatives to a new digital reality, the 2020-21 Member Guide took on heightened importance as AmCham’s flagship marketing publication. The Guide not only highlighted AmCham’s continued policy outreach efforts but also how the Chamber’s continued commitment to delivering membership value through flexible digital programing.
The Guide featured contributions from 65+ member companies, senior member company leaders, Norwegian Minister of Finance Jan Tore Sanner, and US Secretary of the Navy Rear Admiral Kenneth J. Braithwaite.
As managing editor, my role encompassed all facets of publication management, including budgeting, content development, and facilitation of contributions from 65+ member companies, business leaders, and senior Norwegian and American officials.
The Guide included 40+ pages of bespoke content and seven in-depth articles, all directly aligned with AmCham’s overarching mission, advancing transatlantic business. Coordinating closely with advertising sponsors, graphic designers, and printers, I oversaw a seamless development and production process, including the distribution of the Guide to over 400+ member company, partner, and government stakeholders.
Additionally, I spearheaded the Guide’s digital launch, amplifying the Guide’s reach through the design of a dedicated webpage and custom social media content.
