Thematically focused on “Norwegian competitiveness,” the 2019-20 AmCham Membership Guide drew upon the collective expertise of its 250 member companies to examine Norwegian strengths and weaknesses on the global economic stage, featuring in-depth articles on sound policy frameworks, Norwegian competitiveness in a changing world, cross-sector collaboration as a collaborative edge, and how Norwegian companies are contributing to economic and societal growth in the American heartland.
As AmCham’s preeminent marketing and member engagement publication, the Guide also showcased AmCham’s broad portfolio of member-driven initiatives and policy outreach efforts, as well as highlighting member company expertise to the broader membership.
The guide featured contributions 65+ member companies, business leaders, Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Søreide, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
As managing editor, my role encompassed all facets of publication management, including budgeting, content development, and the facilitation of contributions from 65+ member companies, business leaders, and senior Norwegian and American officials.
The Guide included 40+ pages of bespoke content and four in-depth articles, all directly aligned with AmCham’s overarching mission, advancing transatlantic business. Coordinating closely with advertising sponsors, graphic designers, and printers, I oversaw a seamless development and production process, including the distribution of the Guide to over 400+ member company, partner, and government stakeholders.
Additionally, I spearheaded the Guide’s digital launch, amplifying the Guide’s reach through the design of a dedicated webpage and custom social media content.
